It is our duty to help children navigate through their critical moments of discovery, whether it is a positive or negative discovery. Just as the preschool years are fun and exciting, they can also be detrimental to the development of a healthy self-image.
Who was it that said this? I am so glad that you enjoyed the conference. It sounds to me like you would recommend this for people that are interested in the early childhood field, right?
ReplyDeleteThe quote is from one of the first speakers in the multimedia presentation. And yes, I would recommend ANY NAEYC conference to anyone in the field. I've been to both the Professional Development Institutes and Annual Conferences. So inspiring!
